Through the eyes of the germans
Although the Holocaust was a horrible time for the Jews, it is important to consider the time period when making judgements about the Germans. Even though the Jews were the ones to pay for Hitler coming to power, the Germans were also taken advantage of. The Germans were tricked into believeingthat the Jews were actually the reason of the Great Depression because of the way that Hitler had portrayed them; that they were "evil patners" of the allied forces that had beat the Germans during World War I. Hitler accused the Jews because most of the wealthy merchants and international bankers were Jewish and he accused them of giving away Germany's secrets. With that he was able to convince the Germans to believe him because of the devastating effect of the Great Depression after World War I.
This video shows how Hitler has convinced the Germans that the Jews were the reason that Germany was in bad shape.

Through the eyes of the holocaust survivors
Despite having known that the Holocaust was a terrible experience to the Jews; no one really knows how life was in the camps besides the ones who were in it. The only experience that others have are from the survivors from those camps. Some of the people who have survived the Holocaust were either always one step ahead of the Nazis, had help from other people, or were saved from camper liberations. Through the eyes of these survivors, they are able to continue to tell their memoirs of how life was like in the camps. Also, they are able to continue to share what a regular day was like and how they were treated in the camps.
